the machine

meet the micro pro.

every class at sloane is practised on the micro pro™ — the latest and most refined machine in lagree fitness. a compact, spring-loaded carriage lets you add or release resistance in seconds, flowing from one muscle group to the next with no rest and no reset.

it’s a smaller, smarter footprint than the classic megaformer — the same relentless, spring-based intensity, engineered so every second of every move counts. it’s what makes a sloane class feel controlled, continuous and completely full-body.

  • spring-based, infinitely adjustable resistance
  • a smooth, near-silent carriage
  • endless exercise variety — no two classes the same
  • low-impact and joint-friendly by design

questions

everything you need to know.

what is lagree?

lagree is a full-body training method that blends strength, cardio, core and balance into one 45-minute workout. it’s performed slowly and with control on a spring-loaded machine (the micro pro), keeping your muscles under constant tension to build lean strength while protecting your joints — high intensity, low impact.

is lagree good for beginners?

yes — genuinely. every class is beginner-friendly and low-impact, and our coaches give hands-on corrections throughout so you always know what to do. no experience needed. the best way to start is our try me offer: two classes for £38.

how is lagree different from reformer pilates?

lagree is inspired by pilates but it’s faster-paced, more athletic and more results-driven. it uses spring-based resistance to push your muscles to their safe limit, at a higher intensity — while keeping the low-impact quality that makes it kind to your body. put simply: the low-impact integrity of pilates, with the intensity of strength training.

what is the micro pro machine — and how is it different from the megaformer?

the micro pro is the latest lagree machine: a compact, spring-loaded carriage that lets you change resistance in seconds and flow between exercises with no rest. it’s a smaller, more refined footprint than the classic megaformer — same relentless spring-based intensity, engineered for precision and control.

is lagree cardio or strength training?

both. the slow, continuous movement builds strength and lean muscle, while the constant tension and minimal rest keep your heart rate elevated for a real cardiovascular effect. you get strength, cardio, core and mobility in a single session.

how often should i do lagree?

two to three classes a week is the sweet spot for most people — enough to build strength and see results while giving your body time to recover. because it’s low-impact, many members train more often than they would with high-impact workouts.

will lagree help me build muscle and tone up?

lagree is designed to build long, lean, defined muscle through time under tension, and to improve core strength, posture and mobility. paired with consistency and sensible nutrition, most people notice they feel stronger and more toned within a few weeks.

what should i wear and bring?

comfortable activewear you can move in, and grip socks (required for safety — available to buy at the studio). bring water; everything else is provided. arrive 10–15 minutes before your first class so we can show you the machine.
